Rugged filters -- constructed for zero field maintenance with permanent plastic coalescing filter elements -- remove dirt, oil, and water from compressed air. This proprietary filter element, constructed from several hundred grooved plastic discs stacked on a plastic core, efficiently collects suspended droplets of water and oil and coalesces the drops into a liquid film, which drains continuously from the filter element.
